If you did not purchase tickets in time for your visit at the Acropolis and they are now sold out, you can check if there are still slots available from our partners above.

Otherwise, visitors who arrive without advance tickets can purchase admission on-site at the Acropolis ticket counter. It's important to note that during peak times, lines at the ticket booths can be quite long.

If the tickets are not available on the official website, then most likely the discounted options will not be available and the full price will be required.

If the tickets are available, there are several categories of people who are eligible for discounts and free entries.

As of 2025, the previously popular "combo ticket" that included multiple ancient sites along with the Acropolis has been discontinued, so visitors must now buy tickets for each site separately. The single Acropolis ticket does not include entry to other attractions.

Tickets for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum are sold separately, there is no combined ticket that covers admission to both venues. There are, however, guided tours that include both attractions or convenient ways to purchase tickets for the Acropolis Museum and different Athens sites at the same time.

On-site ticket booths operate daily during opening hours and allow spontaneous visitors to buy entry, provided tickets have not sold out due to visitor limits. Especially in summer, high demand can mean entry slots fill quickly.
